Project History
Pipeline Integrity Management Program Development and Implemenatation

Developed and implemented Pipeline Integrity Management Programs for a multitude of oil and gas companies (either in a project management or technical advisor capacity). This work included process and procedure development and alignment with existing company procedures and philosophies. Managed and trained various key personnel on IMP topics, or self performed tasks such as data integration, risk assessment (qualitative and/or quantitative) on pipelines and/or facilities, threat identification and mitigation, compliance documentation. Depending on the company, either utilized an existing or new GIS, risk algorithm and data alignment software systems. Served as technical advisor/expert is a multitude of capacities on topics such as: risk assessment, fitness for service, threat identification and analysis, preventive and mitigative measures, selection of an integrity assessment method(s), leak detection and EFRD analysis, surge evaluation, spill modeling and HCA Analysis and impact, in-line inspection, pressure testing, direct assessment, MOP/MAOP studies etc. Significant projects/roles were/are performed with the following companies:

  • Plains All-American
  • MarkWest Hydrocarbon
